![]() So, with saying all that, lets go over each item. I am going over things that I have accepted and want to continue to use as part of my setup. As I write these posts, I am giving myself enough time to be sure that I am keeping the items I discuss. ![]() The leather pad was surprisingly more comfortable than I expected. You could say this phase is one part ergonomic and the other is strictly aesthetic, but I beg to differ. In saying all that, this first phase is setting up a VESA mount on my iMac Pro and mounting it to a monitor arm plus purchasing a leather desk pad for my keyboard and mouse. That is a significant aspect of the purchases I make, but ultimately, it needs to fit my tastes and provide the desire to want to sit or stand in one place for hours at a time. I want to avoid giving off the impression that everything I go over for my desk setup will be a literal use for writing. I want my desk to be useful and productive, but it also needs to be fun. Since I am moving to a desktop from a long-time laptop user, it is important for me to have a place for me to want to go to each day. ![]() My goal in setting up my desk setup is to have some that is ergonomic, making it comfortable to use for long periods, and unique to my style to provide a welcoming environment for me to want to use. This will be my first of a few posts on the process of creating my Dream Desk Setup. ![]()
